And Zenith wasn’t the only manufacture trying to create the first automatic chronograph, either Seiko, as well as the Chronomatic Group (a partnership between Heuer-Léonidas, Breitling, Hamilton-Büren and Dubois-Dépraz), raced to develop a working prototype.
